Please note that the main idea is your drawing. Texts are also welcome, but I strongly recommend you to try drawing or making sketch of the object chosen to represent your mother. Why hand-drawn? Manual, dear ones, show your passion, your heart and mind, through your fingers. Nevertheless, graphic ones will do just fine; but again, please try to sketch or draw it manually. :)

"Mother in a Noun"?

Mother in a Noun is how you describe your mother in one noun. Of course, you are asked to draw it. Hand-drawn and there is no need to worry; this is not about how good your drawing is, this is simply on how your own fingers try to figure your own mother. If you see there are some texts included within the posts, that means you're also so welcome to add on some words you need to help you in explaining or even help you dig the emotions out. How to Contribute?

Pick an object that you think can represent your mother. Make your drawing of the object/noun (remember, one noun only in one drawing - if you feel like wanting to send two or even more nouns/objects, do draw them in separate pictures); feel free to use any color/media. Send it/them (attached) in jpg/jpeg format - not more than 250 kb sized image - along with your name, age (optional), location and text (optional) by email to: dorotheadiba@yahoo.co.id with subject: "MOTHER: [your name]".

What Language Should I Use?

English will be best, but you're ever so welcome to use your own language. Besides, it is the drawing that will mainly speak. Don't worry. :)

What If I Want to Change My Post?

Send your new post by email to dorotheadiba@yahoo.co.id along with any other detail needed to be updated. You will soon hear from me when I have your post updated. What if I want to add or send more than one drawing? You are welcome to do so. Please send me email to the address mentioned before and let me know whether you want to change your post or have it added with the new one.
